Liability is another issue I would be scared of. I would be very afraid of overspray getting on something at someone's house, no matter if you use a tent of whatever. Or, I would be afraid someone would claim that I did it, even if i didn't. I have met alot of strange people in this business...you never know. Unless you're a celebrity, I'm not sure why you couldn't just go to the salon and get it done. |

I have the L.L.C. so atleast they cant take my personal stuff or any earnings if i get sued : ) I just love doing it because i cant do 9-5 jobs, i want to be a "stay at home" mom with my 2 year old, so while he goes to his little "school" from 9:30-1:30 i go spray a few people and im done. Sometimes on sat. so for 3 hours of work 3 or 4 days a week, a $1,000+ in profit/week is worth carrying my cute bag with my cute system and i havent had to drive too far or in traffic because of the time i schedule appointments, so far so good. As long as people keep paying i'm fine with it. I think when people tip, theyre giving me gas money haha, so thats pretty cool. |

Also, I live in louisiana, and after katrina, people think baton rouge is the new N.O. and now there trying to make it the next holly wood building these fancy stores and people running around spending all kinds of money, for me, its GREAT business. I mean if there going to put all these types of stores, might as well bring the type of V.I.P. service these people have been longing for. |

I'm afraid to charge to much for mobile tanning. The prices quoted are huge. I want return clients and sunless tanning isn't permanent like hair. I just can't see very many return clients if they are paying $75-100 every 7-10 days. I wouldn;t do it and I love to be tan. Do you guys having some special thng you tell them that they feel they need to keep tanning. Also I think that mobile credit card machine is great. I can see people spending so much more money if they can use cc. Are they expensive to use? My husband is discouraging me but tips for hair are great, I can imagine tanning especially if you have great service with wine and giveaway's. |

Seems like every area has their own amount that people can afford to pay. Like $25.00 in farm country and $100 in Manhatten. |

My fee is based on me being a professional, licensed esthetician, so i have that advantage. Also, when someone comes to you for a beauty service, it should cost more!! There are so many reasons people love it. They will pay not to have to get a babysitter, or to have a girls night, or just to be comfortable in their own home. ANd yes credit cards make a world of difference. The one i got plugs into my phone, and is about as big as my cell phone (voyager..sp?) and it prints receipts to, also sends info to my QuickBooks program on my Mac. Set up fee $40, actuall device $250-$300. |

Not sure where else to look but I might advertize but a little weirded out wondering who is answering the post. Im not comfortable going to peoples house i dont know but it could possibly make money. I'm thinking $60 per tan with maybe and extender to go with it and then 2 tans for $100. I charged $65.00 for hair right now and that includes a cut and being cheaper i get huge tips so i always come out with 15 to 20 dolllar tips. I like to keep my clients and get referrrals. IF i charged to much they might just go to a salon. |

Or 2 for $70 Or three to four for $30 And five or more $25.00 each. How does that sound? Cant charge to much in san diego. We have free sun:) |
