Y'all have provided me with some good morning laughs (and "Ewwws!"). We have thongs but I'm wondering if they'd be enough to hold a man's package....so far the only spray tans we've done have been on women who wore bathing suits. This is a small town so hopefully the men will be afraid to come in fully naked for fear the news might get out on their behavior ;)

At our salon a male must wear boxers, shorts, or a bathing suit. If this is a problem I'm sure they can go somewhere else in town to fit their needs. :)

i must be naive but i did not think a man would want to be naked in front a girl he does not know. guess not! hehehehehehehehe! i have not had a male client yet and now i am scared!

I was nervous the first time I had to spray a male too. It was nothing. Both of my first males had terminal cancer and could no longer use the beds.
Keep conversation in line and there would be no reason for him to be aroused.

In my opinion men get aroused by visual stimulation... you can talk about the weather and they can still get aroused. I turned conversation to whatever I could to keep things 'at ease', on the 'dripper'. It went up, it went down... I kept it professional as if the elephant wasn't in the room (no pun intended,lol).
Spray enough men you will encounter it, it is just a question of whether it is covered or not. I would rather not see the whole thing from start to finish (once again no pun inteded,lol). If the guy wants to control it, more than likely he can... by thinking of something very unarousing. I don't think the guy I sprayed, did it for the tan. He did it for the shock factor I am pretty sure. My policy weeds out the weirdos.
Boxers, briefs, or speedo, even a sock will do... but I will never do a guy totally nude. Yes, I am a poet. ;)

I most defintaly keep the conversations in line, am very professional
at all times and it still happened to me ( the arousal and the dripper) So I agree with what shawnalyn said, you can talk about the weather ...it still happens. And my spiderman guy was *** he made that no secret ....so what with that !!!!! Maybe just the cool mist sensation , i dunno.
Another issue is .....I manage the salon, and am the only one here who is trained on spray tanning . I am older, more mature (40's). The part time girls are wayyyy to young and not interested in learning. I was told from now on when I hire anyone they must be ok with nude bodies. I dissagree with a 20 yr old spraying clients especially men here at the salon alone. The owner doesnt seem to think it a big deal ( she laughed... alot, when i told her about spiderman ) I did tell her i am no longer willing to spray tan nude MEN but I feel it shud not be asked of the young girls. I think she will flip if i refuse to spray men and women nude and try and put a policy in place. Although I have no problem doing women, is it discrimination.

The mist 'sensation' might be it. I was informed it might be a STD they lovingly refer to as 'drip ****'-- Chlamydia, I think-- or it's ugly sister gonnarhea. Not sure which, either way... no one should encounter that, or experience the 'spider man effect'. I threw away the towel he stood on, and drank a lot of wine to ease the trauma.

ewwwww no way !!!! I too threw away the towel and am still drinking wine to erase the memories. I am soooo happy someone shares my trauma.
