Oh my god, I had a guy w/ a drip too! I was mortified! NO MORE NUDE MEN from here on out for me. That was just... well, really freakin' gross! Didn't look at guys the same for a good month.

That was my other concern - - - there's that FDA bit about keeping DHA out of our mucus membranes... and having sex with a tinted unit would seem like a violation (there i go with the puns again)....

OMG Shawnalyn, I thought it could only happen to me. hahahaha
I too STILL cant seem to get over it and the thought of doing nude men is now outta the question, with the exception of the first guy I did, he is no problem and I continue to spray him weekly.

We do not spray nude men or women. All persons getting sprayed must have the genital area covered. Topless is fine. I did not want for anything, like what you have all described, to ever happen to me or my staff.
I also did not want to have two separate policies for men and women. I wanted it to be fair.

That makes alot of sense ....DB do you have your policies posted and how do you handle the guy who says hes going to a nude beach, or woman who just wants no tan lines.

Hottie, your on the right track... in Illinois you are required to keep the genitialia covered as well as the gluteal crevase and nipples. Your spraying policy is sounds very similar as ours. We've had none of the above problems... and the policy is stated in our intake/hold harmless agreement.
That way no one is excluded, and everyone knows exactly what to expect. Just a professional service at a great price, with no extras! Guys like the spray tanning just as much as the women do... don't discriminate... it's against the law, it's unprofessional, and it costs you money!It's also what the half-assers do to avoid an uncomfortable situation in which they didn't take the time to think through the service from a clients point of view before trying to rake in the cash! With a good business plan/service agenda.... they wouldnt have gotten themselves into a pickle to start with !!
Thus, i repeat my postion for the need of licensing, education, and a professional atmosphere! IMO

My policies are not posted but they are in our brochure and discussed with all clients prior to appointment time.

No tan lines- move the garment slightly.

Kell9, I thought I was the only one too! I didn't include the flirting that was happening as well which added to the gross factor.

PS... besthands I know you are looking to get everyone up in arms with your comment. I have different policies b/c I am mobile in the clients homes. Being a man you probably don't have an understanding of how scary it can be at a guys house spraying them and they get aroused. I have my policy for a reason: Safety, and keeping things sanitary.
