Rep Power: 0 | Compressor Questions I currently have a small tankless compressor (no named brand thats 1/5 horse power 60 max psi...auto shut off at 30...regulator with moisture trap) I use a paasche 200 gun... if i upgrade my compressor will it make a difference in the speed of being able to spray someone? i dont want to have to be forced to invest in a turbine to be able to tan more than 3 people at a time...will the compressor be able to handle 3-5 people one after the other? |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Compressor Questions Im not quite sure what youre asking, but if you have a paasche gun then there is no need to upgrade as that is a good gun. I would guess that your compressor is underpowered and you are getting slow results because there is not enough air. When buying a compressor you need to know what the requirements of your gun is. Each gun will have a CFM requirement at a certain PSI and you need to find a a compressor that can support that. I would guess you have a compressor geared more towards an airbrush set up and that is not sufficient. I just looked at the paasche website and they sell the 200t with a 1/6hp tankless compressor..... so I would think you should be good. IDK |
