ColorMyst Airbrush Tanning Kit
 

Has anyone tried this system? I'm going mobile and will most likely purchase this. Does anyone know of pros/cons to this? Any better recomendations in same price range ($500)? Thanks!

Hey Kristie, I am looking into this unit myself. I am doing some serious researching and comparisons, so if I find out something worthwhile I will let you know. I posted a thread a couple of days ago, looking into a Rapid Tan II system, looking for advice and suggestions. I had lots of onlookers, yet no help. I will check back here to see if anyone has been helpful regarding this system. :)

I purchased my items a-la-carte and assembled my own airbrush tanning kit. I prefer the spray gun, as well. Everything fits inside a small suitcase (with wheels)! I also have a tent that I carry in with me, but it doesn't look like I'm moving in. I don't know how much room the ColorMyst has, but I also have room for resale items.

have been researching mobile tanning equipment for the last two months. i have spent well over a couple hundred hours, and talked to as many techs, mostly in europe, where they have been doing spray tanning for sometime. the first system that i liked was the colormyst with the iwata g6 spray gun. after intense comparisons, all brands, costs, options. i found myself, right back with my first choice of the colormyst. the turboair ultramist hvlp 3g is the newest tanning system out there. so for me, it will be one or the other. i found the best price with thetanningstore. don't buy off ebay trying to save a few dollars. you will pay alot more in the end.there are alot off knock offs. i hope this information saves you sometime and money. good luck

I lots of research as well and decided to buy the Turbo Tan 2620 from www.turbo-tan.com I still will keep my old airbrush unit as backup but upgraded to a turbine unit. its faster and easier the unit is an accuspray/3m unit and the gun is one of the best out there. I couldnt see spending over 600.00 on a compressor/airbrush unit; just would be point less to me; especially since the turbo air at the tanning store is over 30lbs. I have read recent reviews and wasnt impressed.

I actually got 100.00 off the unit since this is my second unit I bought from them. the company is great and decided to continue doing business with them.

why spending so much? I spent 250 and got a tent AND my mobile "device' I use the HVLP mini mist, works perfect! Theres no need to spend all that money, i still charge 1/$75 2/$100, a more expensive system doesnt mean anything. i did hours and hours of research myself. You can always upgrade later.

How did you get both for so cheap. I looking into buying this machine and have found it for $379 and 299. Im going to contact the apollo store in vista and see how much they charge for it there.
