Nair after Cosmetic Tan?

I have a client that just did an airbrush wants to use Nair tomorrow. Anybody know if it'll take away her color?
Thanks.

Re: Nair after Cosmetic Tan?

It will fade it at the least, if not remove it altogether. It depends on how many layers of skin get removed, and how deep the tan is.

Re: Nair after Cosmetic Tan?

Nair is basically a chemical exfoliation - aka Chemical Peel!

Re: Nair after Cosmetic Tan?

ok i thought nair only went to the root of the hair to disintigrate it, i wasn't sure it did anything as far as exfoliating.

Re: Nair after Cosmetic Tan?

It goes after certain proteins, most of these are in the hair but some key ones are in the skin too. So its more aggressive with hair, but also takes off skin.

Re: Nair after Cosmetic Tan?

I've used nair when I didn't have any color from a sunless tan and it lightened my pastey white skin. I could see a distinct outline where the product was. So, I would bet it would fade out a sunless tan alot.
