I am an Esthetician who has just ventured into the sunless tanning industry about 2 hours ago. In my business (skincare) I have to promote healthy skin and avoiding the sun and other harmful rays, so I decided to offer my clients an alternative to UV tanning. So with that said, I ordered my equipment (Apollo t-100) and a mobile spray tent. I am now contemplating solutions (juice as ya'll call it). So with that said what other supplies might you reccommend I need? (besides practice and patience) Any help would be so so so appreciated, I welcome any advice you could throw out.

Suggestions: nose filters, masks for techs(especially if doing numerous sprays at a time),hair caps,disposable underwear,vaseline or barrier cream,a product to prep skin(for those clients who forgot and put on creams or whatever before hand). Some retail products like tan extender and aerosol cans to use between sprays.That some off the top of my head.

But to answer your question, Breeze still makes one of the better ones I have used. However, not all equipment responds to all solutions in the same manner. I recommend you go with what the manufacturer recommends.

Nope, Actually just joined a tanning board thinking I could receive some HELPFUL advice on SUNLESS tanning. Thanks for the help ON BRONZER.

I can give you plenty of helpful advice is you stick around for it. The first thing I explain to my clients when they come in for a cosmetic tan is spraying them is not FDA approved however UV tanning is. That is the biggest misconception about cosmetic tanning. I then go on to explain to them that we've covered all the problems associated with cosmetic tanning. I also tell them they do not get any Vitamin D as a result of a cosmetic tan and they do not get any further sun protection. We supply them with wink-eze, nose filters, chapstick, hairnet, disposable undergarments, an FDA and OSHA approved backdrop (filter system) and an all natural solution. I have them sign a consent form that says they understand how important all of these things are.

Also if you are using a tent I wouldn't think of putting someone in it without mouth filters as well.

Thanks a bunch for your help! With that said, who is a good supplier of the the disposable undergarmets, wink-ez and nose filters that you mentioned?
