How much time do you spend per session?

I am doing mobile spray tanning. I wanted to know on average how long do you guys spend at a clients house? All together with set up and clean up..etc. I know me and the client where chit chatting but I spent 1 1/2 there. Big surprise to me. Thanks

From the time one of my girls goes into the house to when they leave it's any where from 25 minutes for a previous client to 45 minutes for a new one. They are still very friendly and informative and never rush them however I do schedule most appointments in 45 minute intervals. I would say 1.5hrs is ok in the begining but you'll need to speed that up. Oh, I forgot we are using HVLP not airbrush so that may be why our time is quick too.

We are completely mobile. Have the normal popup tent, setup of equip, explain process/procedure, spray, cleanup & after care.

Hope this helps.

I'm in and out in 20 minutes... not more than 30.

Okay so how are you so quick?? I have a small HVLP system. I sprayed the client in her shower. But I wanted to make sure everything was covered not to get solution on it. Do you guys wash down the shower or do you leave that for your client? What about selling maint. products- do you take time to do that? I just want it to be as quick and easy as possible. 30 mins would be great! I am used to them coming to me- so me going to them is going to take some adjustment.

It usually takes me about 30-45 minutes depending on the set up. It's actually easier if I can use my tan tent, but some people don't have room for it. Or they'd prefer for me to spray them in their bathroom, and then I put black drop cloths over their shower and on the floor. Unfortunately that takes longer than the tan tent.

I never have sprayed anyone in their shower honestly. I don't plan on it either. I would reccomend getting a tent as soon as possible. I've never had the tent not fit in someones home, atleast the ones that we use are only about 6ft high by about 4ft wide.

We prep client, barrier cream, spray two light coats, help them get the barrier cream off and we also have "cool" blow dryers incase they want us to hand dry them for a couple minutes. Like I said maybe it's the tent situation?!? I'd reccomend one!!

Re: How much time do you spend per session?

I have a tent from southseas. I did a test run before going to this client and I couldn't get it back into the bag- finally my husband helped me and I discovered there was a wire poking out of the front of it. It was extremely large as well. So do you recommend another easier tent? Also the southseas tent did not have a bottom in it. Are they suppose to??

I got my original one from TampaBayTan.com. It was $99.00. I think that is the cheapest you'll find and we are still using one of the original tents! It has a clear top that will come on and off in seconds to keep the fumes in. The bottom is a "tarp" material and cleans up pretty easily. I normally soak the tent and let it dry after about 10 sprays. Every tent we have used always seems to be a bit tricky to get folded back up and in the bag!!

My tent is from South Seas, too. It can be tricky, but once you get the hang of it - you won't have problems. If you go to the website (www.southseasskincare.com) there is a video that shows you how to fold it. I use a black sheet on the floor and throw it in the washing machine when necessary.
