Thanks for your suggestions. Did you use a tent? Where were you located in their house when you tanned? Are you in a larger city or smaller town? Also, how much did you charge each if you don't mind me asking? Did you know how many tanners would be there prior to the party? Did they all show up that had committed to the host?
I have moved to a small town and don't know many people. No one does this here. There are only a few salons that even offer spray tanning. I am hoping to have a few parties and then get others scheduled from those. It sounds like you were successful doing that. I am giving the host a free tan, but to have a party they must have a minimum of 4 guests. The prices are staggered $27.50, $25 for 6 - 9, and $22.50 for 10+. I'm not sure this is the best method or not and was interested to see what others were doing as far as pricing. I wish I could charge more, but this is more geared to the area and the going rate of other salons. I'm having a drawing for a full size bottle of tan extended or a sample set of all my products - this will be based on how large the party is. I don't want to lose money having parties. I'm anxious to get started!
