Spray tan/bed - tanTALK

this might be a stupid question but I was wondering if you can get a spray tan and then start tanning in a bed? (using both at same time to get base tan from bed)

Ya.. you can, but keep in mind that the spray tan is just cosmetic. Use the same precautions are start out with less time.

Thanks for the reply...I have never had spray tan before but tanned in beds for years...I am late getting started this year and want some color..but also want to start the bed! Using lotion in the bed will not affect the spray tan ?

The lotion should not. But if the purpose of the spray tan is to "jump start" you tan, it will not. In fact it will hide the initial color you get or even if you possibly burn!

Not really looking to "jump start" just sick of being "white" and wanted something to "hide" my white until I get some color underneath does that make sense?

if you're doing them at the same time do the uv tan first or do a standup if it's RIGHT after the spray. if you lay in the bed with the airbrust solution sweat can ruin it and it might not stay even on your body.

Do a High Pressure bed with no lotion FIRST...then the Spray tan .

Do not spray tan first and then use a bed...the sweat will make your spray tan run.
