Re: Tanning Parties
See if your distributor has them? If not, try a party supply store or Smart n' Final or some kind of restaurant supply place to find them. They are 1oz. My distributor sent me some for free, along with a 32 oz bottle of the tan extender so that I could give out samples. It works. I sell the one that I have the samples for the most because of it & it's my most expensive lotion. I give it to all my first time clients & they like it & often buy it when they return.

Re: Tanning Parties
I've just purchased a professional system for spray tanning out of my home. I was a former spa ower and had to move to another state because of spouse's job. I had not even considered a tanning party, but I am quite intrigued with the idea! Where do you typically tan people in their houses? Do you provide a portable screen? I have a Turbo System which allows for quicker applications, but it still requires drying time. How do you handle several people???

Re: Tanning Parties
When you hosted your own tanning party at your own house, who was entertaining while you were tanning??? I'm trying to figure out the entertaining aspect while I'm in a separate room and busy. I have a turbo sprayer so each tan would only take a few minutes and then they could dry for a few minutes. WHile they were drying and dressing, I could return to my friends I suppose. I'm sure the excitement of seeing each friend come back to the party all tan is a huge part of the fun of the party!
I have a room prepared in my home for tanning. I am contemplating a pop up tent for the parties at others' houses. Does any one have any recommendations??? |

Re: Tanning Parties
Has anyone else used Norvell solution with their HVLP system? I have not started my mobile parties yet because the color is not what I'm looking for. It's kind of orange tinted. I spray 2 light coats. I have mainly sprayed lighter skinned people and I've used the regular solution with bronzer. I don't remember the color being orange the last time I used it. I'm not sure if it's the batch that I got or if it has something to do with the fact that I'm not using an airbrush like I used in the past. Any suggestions?
I tried another brand - All About Me - and I think this is also orangey! Is it something I'm doing wrong??? By the way, I use the pH Balancing Spray by Norvell faithfully on every person. HELP! I want to get started with this but I can't until I get all the kinks worked out!!! |

Re: Tanning Parties
I have to think it is something you are doing or not doing. Those are two products while different both have a good following. Too many people use those products with no issues.
