Glad to hear it went well Sonya! I hope you are able to book even more parties from the people at this first one. My business is picking up! I have at least one party every weekend this month, and lots of other individual appointments here and there throughout the week. I cannot rave enough about myspace! My party last week (booked by a chick on myspace) brought in well over $250. And they've already booked a 2nd party!
Another random lady found me online today and called me after looking at my myspace page. She has an appointment Friday morning!
To answer aeganje's question: I have tan extenders, aerosol self tanner, exfoliators, body wash, and regular lotions for sale. I also just got in t-shirts with my logo on them and CalTan's shimmer spray. So far, my best sellers are the tan extenders and the aerosols.

Anyone use the body glitter or tattoos at the parties, are those big marketing items? I currently just use the regular tanning tattoos and the girls seem to like them. Do you think body glitter will go well for prom? How long does it last?

I charge $25 each at the parties. I do the glitter, but not alot of people want it. I think it will be more popular for prom. It only lasts until the first shower though, so unless they want it rubbing off on their dress, it's a little difficult for special events. CalTan makes a glitter spray that would probably work just as well for that.
I do the temporary airbrush tattoos too, but haven't had alot of experience doing those at the parties yet.

I do most of my parties by myself. I've only taken an assistant with me once and it was because it was at a strip club and I was scared to go by myself. =)

Those of you who do parties, the primer you have them use, do you make them buy it or do you include it in their cost of spraying? or do you skip the primer?
