This is actually a tough one for me. My choices in order.

1. Ingredients
2. Color
3. Duration of Color
4. Consistancy
5. Fragrance of Solution
6. Price
7. Shelf Life

Thats based on what I used. If the scent was REALLY bad, no matter how well it worked, I would pass it up but most are pretty good so I dont consider it too critical.

I put ingredients first because the days of orange seem to be gone hopefully. lol
If I use this on my face 2x a week ingredients have to be the most important to me. I feel like after I find the ones with the best ingredients then I'll find the best color within those guidelines. Shelf Life is last for me because I don't plan on having it lying around long.
I will pay any price for high quality so price isn't a huge factor either.

I can sacrifice a bad smell if it's temporary and I achieved a great color with great ingredients. heh

I would have to say color as well.

Duration is good if your color is what you want.

Ingredients also if you are doing your face

Scent doesn't bother me as long as its not skunky and as soon as you wash it goes away.

Price, if the product is really good, price is not important.

Now THAT is just...come on. You will lose sleep for that one. DHA = ORANGE unless you apply it OVER a real tan.

So not true. At a show there were two girls at the booth one was only sprayed and the other was only tanned in a bed. 80% of the people surveyed said the spray tanned girl looked better.
