How do you keep ALL of the stuff in that room CLEAN? I can't keep up with the overspray in my room and it is as barebones as I can get it without being empty. What type of extractor/backstop do you have?

The room is gorgeous BTW. I've been bungling my decor for years now. I wish I had your flair.

I think serveral things can cause overspray. The solution being to thin, the backdrop fans/filters are not large enough or high enough cfm's to capture mist in the air or you are spraying to far away from your clients.
The backdrop I have was from Scentual Sun.

Sorry to have asked the name of the backdrop again Eileen - I only read the first page of the thread and didn't notice the rest - where you already said it was from Scentual Sun. That's what I get for reading this in the middle of the night... I still can't get over how awesome your room looks though.

I had actually spoken with a guy from Scentual Sun about a year ago, and quite frankly found him a bit patronizing, which put me off. However, I really need a good extraction set up, as my salons are starting to "tan" themselves - the staff never seem to clean as much as I do (no duh) and I can't be in both of my salons every night. We do the only airbrush in our area, everyone else has a booth, so I'm happy to report the referral system is sending a lotta love our way, especially this time of year. But the clean up is a bear.

Has anyone out there used the Spray Panel? I am just wondering about the obvious variables: How well it works, the noise level and how easy it is to clean.

I built a room and lined it w/ FRP (think rest. or gas station bathroom 1/8 inch plastic that nothing sticks to) and put in two furnace filters w/ two 300 cfm fans pullin through the filters. It cleans easy, just did it after 4 sprays, throw out the filters 1-2xper week, and very little to breath in. make sure you do not have a coold air return in you area that you spray, or you'll cook your AC unit.
