ctt-have you ever seen the legs do this before? i'm pretty sure i asked this person if she shaved the day of and she said no. she had this little white spot on her leg that i thought was a scar until she told me that it wasnt and the spray wouldnt cover it even the 2nd time.
i have never used a primer before or the sluff wipes-
do you just tell everyone to use them regardless?

i have what i think is a good question, and i am not sure if it has been asked yet...

who is your distributor? what company did you buy your machine from? they should have a whole line of product for you to buy... things like primers and exfoliators, and extenders... and also talk to you about technique and what not.

I had to figure it all out on my own, cause my original dist. is a doucshe. But hopefully you have a better one than i had!

a lot of times people lie... for instance, did you shave this morning? NO, OF COURSE NOT, YOU TOLD ME TO DO IT LAST NIGHT. Really? okay, it is just that the solution isn't going on as usual. OKAY, YOU GOT ME... I SHAVED RIGHT BEFORE I GOT HERE.

And, HEY, THE SOLUTION LEFT REALLY WEIRD LINES ON MY LEGS. When did you shave? THE DAY BEFORE YOU SPRAYED ME. Really? Cause what you are describing usually only happens when the person shaves right before they come in. OH, YOU GOT ME, I DID SHAVE RIGHT BEFORE... MY BAD.

actually we purchased an existing salon-which the norvell system-solution-exhaust-the gun is iwata airbrush revolution and the compressor is???i cant think of it at the moment.
but i have done many successful sprays....9 times out of 10, no problem. i have only experienced this situation maybe half a dozen times if that in a little over a years time.
i have a pretty good ditsy, but then again i didnt purchase this system originally...came with the place.
everyone tells you something different anyway.

Sorry Sz Girl. Just seen post. I have been really crazy busy. Make sure you ask you client very specific questions. They say only soap and water, but when you sprayed her legs did you notice that the legs were kinda shiny?

Remember to ask what they shave with: razor or electric?

The new venus, intutition or some of those razors with oily products that squirt out as they shave is sometimes a big problem with sunless. Its usually a mineral oil/petroleum base.

Blotchy: what was she wearing when she left the salon?

Have you sprayed her before? Is this a one time issue or it never takes correctly?

IMO if the front took and it was the sides or back of the legs it is probably something the client is doing and she/he doesn't realize it. Go over the simpliest details.
Make sure she waited the full time processing?

Was it raining the time of her spray? If so she might have splashed h20 on the back of her legs as she walked with her shoes? Just a thought?

Did she sleep on the product? IF so does she sleep with a pillow between her legs?
I know this sounds crazy, but one of my guest had this issue on her legs and it was the razor and the product on the razor. It was streaky and blotchy.

Remember the shave cream, gels or nair products all are (IMO) No NO's when it comes to sunless.
Last but not least, DON"T LAUGH> but I had a client hours after her sunless she and her partner couldn't wait for the processing time shower and she & he was a mess!! LMAO

ok-the last time this happened i sprayed the lady once really good with breeze 9
she said her shins did not stick- came back in the same week and i saw what exactyly she was talking about. very strange- very random-maybe stick to one side but not the other-so this time i sprayed her with norvell original-pretty good 2 coats- same thing- only on the shins-no where else- she is a rather light to medium skin type.
so i told her i would rack my brains and ask my friends for a solution. i asked her about shaving- she said just soap and water- so i told her the next time we spray she will have to use a plain soap and water the nite before. then when i get my sluff wipes-we will use those too. can you think of anything else? i have one other older lady that this always happens to as well-her face is always sweaty and the back of her neck is always red. i think hers is moreof a PH factor. do the sluff wipes really work to help balance the ph? or do i need something else?

Sluff wipes IS a ph balancer. If that doesnt do THAT job, what do you think would?

cali- i got my sluff wipes today and it does say right on the little box PH balancer-
i am curious as to what kind of airbrush gun you use?
i am starting to think this could be a problem for me-not for THIS issue but with some
others.
