We are full service UV and UV free (Mystic and HVLP airbrush ) Now for SUNLESS:I do around 20-25 peepsper day for 6 days around a big holiday or event, but to day average I am only guessing here I would say approx. 4-8 daily would be more realistic for the year average. I think your area is great as long as you promote...promote ...promote..I would also hook up with a local tanning salon that doesn't offer sunless and try the double dipping..offer incentatives with the salon and guest. Ex. Tan with X for $10 and get a sunless the same day for X amount of dollars..just a thought.. Hook up with other local Universities, such as their art department: models etc, local modeling agency, high schools athletics: cheerleading, dance teams. etc.. Wedding planners, Wedding shops, photographers..just to name a few Hook up with other artist in your area: hair spa and make up salons.. It is endless, alot of work when you do not have another "draw" to your brick and mortar set up..but NOT impossible.. Mobile..is just another avenue, but $$$ travel and expensive is there. Great for Tanning parties: Bridal pretrial parties: Min of 6 though to make it worth it.. Just food for thought.. Best Regards to your efforts.. Last edited by Bravotan; 07-31-2007 at 10:17 AM. |

Rep Power: 18 | Re: How are you guys doing with Sunless? Again... and I think its pointless. Along with what Neon said, this is for the majority of your clients a 1 time ever 3-9 months thing. I do have a VIP package with unlimited tans and to be honest... probably 1/4 tan more then 1 time MAYBE 2 times a month. College students do NOT have unlimited funds. College students as a whole are the poorest out there. Sure, they will come in, they will like it, but thats probably going to be it for 80% of it. Sunless is not based in repeat business. I have done almost 50 sprays in one day based on prom. That was ONE DAY OUT OF A YEAR. You also might want to ask more on here about the solution you are planning on using and where you can get certified or something instead of if we think your business will work. Only you know that. If you make it work, GREAT. If you cant, you have only you to blame. However, sunless is a VERY VERY VERY particular service and you need to know alot more then marketing to get it off the ground sucsessfully. |

Rep Power: 22 | Re: How are you guys doing with Sunless? I've got a Magic Tan spray booth and I'm lucky if I spray 5 a month. I only have it because I consider myself a full service salon. There's no way I could afford to get a Versa Spa. Nice unit though. Last edited by parrot head; 07-31-2007 at 01:01 PM. Reason: addition |

Rep Power: 19 | Re: How are you guys doing with Sunless? I have a Mystic booth and we are averaging 6-10 sprays a day right now. I offer buy 2 sessions get one FREE and I'll bet only 20% of the peeps use all three sprays. In my salon the pkgs expire in 6 mos, so in those terms I am making money on the booth. I do have about 10-15 clients that get sprayed regularly, though. |

Rep Power: 19 | Re: How are you guys doing with Sunless? Every salon in this town have tans expire. I was givin them a year, but the other salons were givin them 6 mos and there's one in town that gives them 90 days. The comp here is FIERCE. People here just expect their tans to expire. It isn't a problem. |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: How are you guys doing with Sunless? Our expiration is 5 years. I was given this advice but our legal consultant, because there is a end in site somewhere/sometime and if something should happen for example, you die, or sale, or whatever at least the responsibility is a 5 year for the clients. Endless carries along warranty.LOL |
