They mentioned that some diabetics are claiming that they are having a negative reation to this with the solution going into their skin. Now, I pride myself on doing a lot of homework on something, but I hadn't heard this one. Any info on this will be very appreciated. thanks |

It seems to make sense....the skin is the largest organ of the human body, and then to cover it in a sugar based substance...the skin has to absorb some of that into the body. I have sprayed diabetics also with no adverse reaction. The adverse reactions must be from very extreme cases of diabetes.

The client would have to consume sugar through the digestive or IV means...Now to cover my backside..I instr them to check w. their md prior to service. If diabetics has a problem with sunless service I would think if client had sugar scrubs from a spa would be alittle more agressive service. Not sure. Now if a client came to get sunless every single day for a period of time, it may cause concern...Maybe?? I know I have a very sensitive feeble diabetic with a continous pump and she sprays every other week. No problems here... |
