Hello. I have a VersaSpa and it uses the Magic Tan solution made specifically for that machine. It is costly and I am not too sure that I am overly thrilled with certain aspects of the solution. My question is....does anyone have a VersaSpa and spray a solution other than the Magic Tan solution in it? Does anyones booth use the Cal Tan solution? What results are you getting from it?

While I have not tried the Verspa,tho I have heard good things anout it. I personally cannot imagine why anyone would want to use Cal Tan in booth or spray. If you want a great solution that can be used in all sprays, try All About Me. Much cheaper and a great product. IMO Cal TAn and Mystic have the most complaints of any products out there. Again IMO. Hopefully Magic isn't like Mystic telling you to only use their product. I'm sure you can find others that you will like and that will cost less.

You are saying something as an opinion but really either is a fact or it isn't. Were did you get the facts that your "opinion" is based on? I gather from your post that you like other solutions better than these two. That IS an opinion. No problem. Just curious about the complaint issue. Are these complaints from salon owners about the product? Are they from end users?

My current experience with the Magic Tan solution I am using is:

1. Expensive - $100/gallon
2. Cosmetic bronzer goes on spotty - I know this fades and then washes off but it still does not make the customer feel good when they get it applied.
3. Even though the VersaSpa dries (and I have even extended the dry cycle) the amount of cosmetic bronzer that rubs off on their clothes is still more than I think is acceptable.
4. The tan does not last more than 2 days. I know this could vary by person...but I use it on myself and have the same results. I exfoliate and have heavily hydrated/moisturized skin and the tan still does not last long

That is why I am looking for a better solution. I paid a good amount of money for the VersaSpa and don't want it to become a paper weight. I definately have a good amount of people still coming to the salon that want sprays or combinations UV and UV Free.

i use caltan for my mobile bronzer, not crazy about it to be honest ,, i cant stand the smell.. My most favore was DS but they discontinued it.. sucks bc everyone loved it ..

i use the cal tan solution for my HVLP and my customers have no complaints, i have yet to try anything else

We have experienced with everything...and I MEAN everything that I know is available for sunless solutions..
caltan solution works awesome, but it is somewhat sticky and lots of cosmetic bronzer..smell not so well either, but we really never had much complaints, just we wanted something more natural developed color and a solution that fits most skin types and NO orange tint...

WE love the Breeze line...I can't say enough about it...you can add a nice clean smell and the color is "fab" a better shade of Sunkissed brown tone...works well with most skin types in my opinion...
The rep at Breeze is wonderful and very knowledgeable and they do stand behind their juice!! Ask for Thomas he will take care of you..
