We spray them free because when the customers see it, they want to try it. The cost is so minimal that it doesn't affect our overall business and our staff feel like they are being taken care of and they love their color so they promote it more.

Everything I have read and heard says they are on the increase and that more and more salons are finding they need to offer to keep up with the competition. Most of your spas also offer it. I personally see it growing and see more salon owners learning to combine the UV and sunless.

there are alot of skeptics about the spray tanning and turning orange. If it looks good I would show it off as much as possible. ( for free) and (a limit of 2 per month)

When we talk about it, a lot of people are always a little gun shy because of either things they heard about spray tanning or their previous experience with other spray tanners. Those ones we see as challenges so we offer them a complimentary face spray. 8 times out of 10, they book to have their whole body sprayed. it is deffinitely about having a good product and putting your money where your mouth is. Sunless isn't going anywhere, but the bad products will drop out, eventually.

I charge my employee 5 dollars a spray in the the magic tan booth. I figure the supplys are costing me that much. They tan free in the uv beds, including the hp. Free, free, I want it free. They get enough freebies here.

I charge $5 to cover the cost of solution. They are the absolute best advertisement. As far as the store tanners, like the mystic booth...they usually only try them ONCE !!

i spray my employees for free, best advertisment and its free! how much does it really cost you? $3? than charge them $5 to get sprayed. give them 1 free a month. tell them u just have to cover the cost of the solution and nose plugs, and barrier cream they use etc....
my girls rarely get sprayed and especially not now since its summer
