QUICK HELP NEEDED!

Hey Jenn, R U around here?

I had to sprays yesterday morning and I got so busy that I forgot about the solution in the spray gun and went home last night and never cleaned it. Now this morning I have two appointments and wondering if I dare flush it out with water since my first appt. this morning is in about half hour. Wont it make the solution really watery? What should I do? My fear is some of the sticky solution is clogged in the gun......and the results of the next spray will be crappy.

HELP! ANYONE!!!

Re: QUICK HELP NEEDED!

Test spray it with the solution right now either on the wall or a piece of paper. If the pattern looks good, keep going. If not, dump the solution back, wash it out and dry the gun with a paper towel. You shouldn't have any problems.

Re: QUICK HELP NEEDED!

The spray turned out great.

I was panicked for nothing.

I ended up just flushing the cup with water and test sprayed like Billable said on a peice of cardboard and it seemed fine.

Your Welcome Jenn,,,,kiss kiss.....

Re: QUICK HELP NEEDED!

FYI-for anyone who forgets to clean out thier gun for an extended amount of time-(HVLP)

Take the gun apart front back and "guts" (if you do not know what this means let me know and I will send you a cleaning card)

Put the entire gun and all of the parts in as hot as you can water and let it soak for awhile. This will disolve the sugar and clean up your gun. Try this next time you think you got your gun clean and just see how much got missed.

By all means if you have anything other than a basic HVLP gun ask the person you got it from. I had someone put thier Austrailain Gold Gun with the laser in the water and fried the laser. She didn't think she should have had to remove the Laser first

Re: QUICK HELP NEEDED!

I have a question. I am going to be spraying my first guy. Can anyone tell me is there anything I need to be doing different than when I spray women? What about extra hair on the body, does that make a difference?

Re: QUICK HELP NEEDED!

All the men I have sprayed are extra hairy. This use to scare the crap out of me.......just spray them as you would a woman and you will be surprised as the solution goes through the hair as it was never there! There may be a little bit of cosmetic bronzer beading on the hair, just tell them that will go away with when it fully dries. I don't spray "packages" so I couldn't help you out in that department:) Good luck!

Re: QUICK HELP NEEDED!

You guys have to clean out the machine? The system we have doesn't require any maintenence. What a pain that must be.
