Very intensive radiation treatment for cancer. I have to use the highest sun block I can get or I sun burn and blister. and before you ask I did go in the low end bed for 5 minutes and blistered also. They honestly do not know if I will ever be able to

Re: Uncomfortable Customers?

Is there a way to make the space smaller? An extra curtain between the 3 door space you spray and the main door? It seems like a large space to be naked in? Also maybe you could offer to show them around the room and see that it is really private before they get naked? Just ideas.. maybe not good ones? I am wanting to start the same buisness so I would like to figure this out as well!

Re: Uncomfortable Customers?

Angiecharm, Great spray room - it very cute, thanks for sharing the photo's. This is a gerat question and one I used to hear alot about when I first started. What I found worked well was walking the client to the room and walking them throgh the process, spending a few minutes with them allows for any questions they have and tends to ease any tension they have.

Wink Re: Uncomfortable Customers?

I have a question for you guys. First off, nice room!

Secondly, i am starting spray tanning back up. We just opened a new tanning salon and when I left the business 1 yr ago, I was spraying my airbrush customers and then setting them in the stand up for 2 min just to dry and set the tan. I use Norvell products and never had one complaint in like 1000 airbrushes.
How come I havent seen anyone mention putting people in the standup rather than fan or airdrying them?
And Angiecharm- or anyone- I need that JACKET! I threw mine out and I have the people undress, put one of those on, take it off for the spray, dry a minute and then place it back on to go into the standup privately.
Please help!
My email is montegotans@aol.com. can you guys help? Oh and does anyone use fragrance in their tans?

Re: Uncomfortable Customers?

montagostacee, since we started comsmetic tanning we include a 5 minute standup. I've only ever had one client pass on the standup tan. The clients love going in there afterwards. I've done it myself and it does give you a "finished" feeling. We love to spoil our customers, we give them every perk we can think of including free nose filters, free chap stick of their own, hair caps, free wink-eeze, make-up remover, kleenex, baby wipes, deoderant, body spray, undergarments and my favorite which I'll email you about :)
