Cool Sunless troubles..Technique ??

Hey all you experts..I have been spraying almost 2 years HVLP Custombronzer 4000.
I have been performing sunless for about 5 years..so I have done lots of practices and research, but I am having challenges on some people: NEED YOUR HELP>>
Any help you can give I really appreciate it.. Sorry so long...

Sometimes tops of feet are darker due to excess:
I apply my barrier cream greasy and clear on tops/skin and heavier on toe nails. I even took suggestion where if the client is skin type 1 spray as usual and on second pass cover foot w. towel.

Sometimes under part of arm is lighter or tops of arm? It looks even when they leave. No lighter areas. I spray as directed to tech I was taught and I even have client face side ways and spray side of arms and underneath a final application???

Arm pit creases? What do you suggest to limit these.. I spray evenly to shoulders on first pass and on second i stop my flow around arm pit area. Sometimes still crease in front arm pit area?

Do you guys wipe your barrier cream off you clients hands and feet after their session?
I was told to wipe of with a damp cloth or baby wipe? What do you do?

I have one guest that has a receeding hair line..so shower cap is not useful totally: He has WHITE hair and solution gets on hair: I tried barrier cream around area of hair line, but it still catches: Any suggestions?

I'm really frustrated. Some clients do well and other there are challenges.. Mostly my very light or light clients.. I use Breeze solution . #5 or 9 on lighter guest.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated...

Re: Sunless troubles..Technique ??

How much solution do you use on each client. I think you might be over spraying I think you are getting fall out that is ending up on thier feet. be sure to fan off on thier feet and only spraythem lightly. You might want to use clear on your client with the white hair. We do not wipe off the barrier cream Because it helps to prevent with transfer of the solution to peoples hand when they touch thier tan. No matter what you tell they they just can't help but "touch themselves"

Overspray could be the problem with the arm pits also. Just a ythought if you are using more than 1 1/2 oz per client you need to adjust how you are spraying because you are suing way too much.

Re: Sunless troubles..Technique ??

Thanks for the info.. I am using about 2 oz of solution . I do fan, but I think you are right the upper body "fall" is the prob. I spray lightly on feet, but I think I might cover feet while I'm doing the rest of the body to prevent the "fall" of upper body solution .

Clear solution for the face : good idea..I don't know why I didn't think of that..duh! LOL

I always wipe barrier cream off, because that is how CAltan instructed to get rid of excess..I will try just maybe turn the flow knob down or just move more quickly around the areas I am finding the over spray..

Thanks again.

If they wont wear the caps I provide then I usually hold my one free hand up as to block the hair from any overspray.
