Tried a sunless booth!

Not long ago i tried a spray booth for the first time, and it was TERRIBLE!. I dont remember what brand it was but i'll find out, i had to get in, twirl around in a circle, get out and rub it in (and have someone rub in where i cant reach) then get back in for another spray and a rub. When it was finished i looked like i'd had brown and grey mud flicked all over me and it left lines around my feet and hands, then after the wash off it was a horrible patchy orange colour. I thought i'd try a booth, thinking it would give a little more privacy but it was alot worse than a hand spray. I couldnt hold my breath long enough on the second round and copped a lung full of solution .

Please tell me there are better booths than this!!

OH MY! You need a better unit than that! Try to find someone who has a VersaSpa, it has an automatic pre prep moisturzer, tan and automatically dries you (no rubbing in, which I think you meant toweling off). Magic Tan is good too, I have always used those but we decided to purchase the VersaSpa by MagicTan because of the many new features (dryer being the coolest).

Ummm, lol, no it actually had to be rubbed in, like u rub in moisturiser. And then we (the salon lady and myself) had to scrub our hands. It was the first time ive ever heard of it having to be rubbed in.

Re: Tried a sunless booth!

Scrub? I could see washing hands but rubbing and scrubbing? There is such a thing as OVER exfoliating which will jack up a spray tan . Please let us know the booth you were in and I am curious the solution they used if you could find out. It's best to exfoliate prior to sunless and not too much, make sure you use a shower gel not soap alkaline can have an effect on your color too.

Yuk. That thing looks like it is made of all plastic. There are much better booths. 2 things I would like to suggest. Be sure you are offered nose filters and your should NEVER have to wipe down.
