Confused about solutions
I am going to purchase my equipment tomorrow and I am a little confused. I am going to go with a spray gun.
Which solution is recommended. I am confused about the CLEAR solution and the Solution with the bronzer? I understand one shows instantly and the clear takes longer. But what are the pros and cons??? Is there certain instances when you would use one or the other Any help would be greatly appreciated |

Re: Confused about solutions
If you try to spray a clear solution ith a handheld, you better be really good. the darker solution lets you see where you have sprayed and it is easier to get it even. I have sprayed clear and it is really neat to watch the skin get darker before your eyes, but I have never been able to train any of my staff to get it even.

Re: Confused about solutions
ditto to billable. Clear solution is tricky. The only people I suggest to use this is someone with LOTS of experience. If you choose to have some on hand for an occasional last minute bride be sure to keep it under lock and key so no one else uses it and messes someone up. I have been in the HVLP|LVLP business for about 3 yrs and I don't feel confident enough to use Clear. Tinted soultion is usually the best way to go. Imedate result and if you miss a spot you can catch it before they leave your salon.
I highly suggest you have your clients wear something even if it is a sticker so they can see the difference (People seem to forget they looked like ghosts before) and they will know they still have a tan. This way they don't come back the next day and say it didn't take. Depending on what system you are using a spray tan shouldn't more than 2 oz of solution. If you are using more than that call the person you purchased your system from and have them help you. |
