Question Lotion and Soap brands for Airbrushing clients

Hello - I am curious if anyone could direct me to some specific brands of lotion and soap that I can tell my clients to use before and after they have been airbrushed? I know that they cannot contain a ton of chemicals and the lotions need to be very moisturizing...

Are there any name brand lotions and soaps that I can tell my airbrushing clients to buy to make sure they are moisturized and cleansed properly before and after getting airbrushed?

I just airbrushed my mom yesterday and her skin in very dry and the lotion she is using is not rehydrating her skin... And instead of using bar soap, what else can I tell my clients to use before they come in?? I know bar soaps are extremely drying, but I don't want to tell them to use Suave body wash if its going to have the same effect??

What can I suggest as brands that are good for them to use to prepare and maintain that are easy for them to acquire through retail outlets... or is there any on the market that are good enough?

Thanks!

KK

As for what to tell your clients to use before getting spray tanned, This is a prime opportunity to sell them a good exfoliator that contains no oil ( the oil will prevent the solution from penetrating all well into the skin) and a tan extender than contains a small amount of DHA not enough to be a self tanned but it will boost the tan they have as well as hydrate thier skin. As for people with dry skin look for a solution that contains aloe instead of Alcohol. Keep in mnd the aloe can take a bit longer to dry than the alcohol base solution. Ask your lotion or spray tan sales person to get you some. Ask them for free samples.

If you are going to tell them what to just go and buy from the store any exfolator will work as long as it has no oils in it. Tell them to invest in a exfolator glove from the doller store. Just about any thick lotion will work for after the spray

I ask all first timers to come in the Salon to get detailed instructions & to purchase Cal Tans 4 peice Sunless kit which contains ; Primer , extender , sunless spray & neutralizer , we also carry the exfoliating gloves. Most bar soaps contain lard.

Maximize sunless sales yourself , don't lose them to the stores. !!

baking soda and a cotton washcloth. dont promote the "other" cosmetic companies. Sell them YOUR tan extender for after.
