Cool Sunless: Does anyone use DHA drops?

Curious how many of you use DHA drops?

Trying to figure out if there really is a big difference when you use them?

I currently use Breeze HVLP solutions (WHICH are the best in my opinion) and I ordered the drops. Now I presently carry formula #5, #9, #10.5, 82dn 10LN. Now with the drops do I really need to have all these formulas on hand or can I use these drops to use on one particular formula?

Also If I use other products such as CAltan and Norvel can I use these drops in those products also with the same result?

Thanks in advance.

Bravo:

You can use the DHA drops in any solution brand with no problems. I had them when I first opened, and found that I almost never used them. Mainly because I offered an 8%, 10% and 12% solution , and those three covered all of the skin types. If someone needed a lighter % than the 8%, I just used slightly less product. I've never seen someone need more than a 12%.

Now I only carry an 8% and a 12%. I was wasting my time and money holding that much product on hand. If I need a 10%, I simply place even amounts of the 8% & 12% into the solution cup, give it a little shake, and voila - I've got 10%.

Oh - I also carry a 10% clear solution (one with no bronzer) for brides...I forgot about that one. Depending on the application, it can cover everyone's skin type.

Re: Sunless: Does anyone use DHA drops?

We aslo carry the booster drops but I really am not a big fan of them. people are way to apt to just puts lots in and have clients turn up looking like lepards. We do have a couple of people who carry them but only use it during the slow season so they do not have so much solution just hanging around. Don't tell my boss but I really think they are a waste of money unless you do a VERY small amount of spray tans . Having a low and a high % dha is so the way to go. Less overhead as well as less product taking up room. Just be careful to not let your solution supply to low. The cost of overnighting solution really stings.

Re: Sunless: Does anyone use DHA drops?

Hey Aloha I was awaiting your answer. Thanks so much for the reply. I kinda figured that is the norm. I have been doing this also. Thomas is out sick, and haven't been able to ask him. However I have found my regulars that I use the 10.5 formula on are getting use to it and I just kick it up a notch with drops.

My biggest question is should I really need to carry that many formulas if I have drops?

Re: Sunless: Does anyone use DHA drops?

Well I have the #5 on hand always for those that are stark white as they do not look good when they are too dark , I tend to use #9 on the first visit & tell them we can go darker if they want , # $10.5 is perfect for those w/a base tan or are darker.

I think that I would rather have the solution & use the drops as back up etc..

Re: Sunless: Does anyone use DHA drops?

That is kinda what I thought. I use alot of 10.5, but very little #5, but I keep around just like you said for the xtra light clients!

I just didn't know if I should carry #5 and # 9 and use drops to customize for a 10.5 and darker?
I guess the old motto..if it isn't broke don't go and try to fix it. lol.
Thanks for your imput. I do appreciate it alot!
Hope I can return favor some day. :-)
