How old is the solution ...look at the date on the drum

It is old. Is it still getting you clients tan?

Got the jug from mystic in Aug and it was installed 8/11/06. Label reads best if used by 12/27/06. Just noticed with last 2 clients so wont know until tomorrow how the rest turns out.

Its is turning green because it is seperating. You have either stored it in too warm a temperature, or it has gotten too much air into it. Was it left somewhere with the cap off?

Deoderant body spray will make the bronzer turn green when applied. It washes off when they shower.

Store your solution in a cool place, ideally below 75 degrees. If temperature is too high for too long can turn green, not a hint of green, but darker than golf course green. The reason, the pH balance of the solution changes the DHA molecules begin to hydrolyze.

Air and temperature are the culprits.

Also, stirring cosmetic tanning solutions with metal objects (other than stainless steel) is a BIG mistake, this can also cause the "green effect'.

If stored properly you should get a shelf life of one year.

We had this happened alot and Mystic tan says NO prob. Just oxidation in the lines and if clients see this just tell them will cause no effect on the tan results. We hated this! But it was true no effects on the tan, just people freaked out after the tan.

Also I was told since it is a food grade, plant derived sugar breaks down and this some times is the separation??
I don't know about you guys, but it really depends on who and what rep. you talk to.
Some say its old solution and others say product heat/cold issues, and the oxidation only in the lines causes it to be a green tint.

yes mystic sent me green juice and they don't wont to take it back they suck.
