Rep Power: 0 | Spray tan "Studio", will it work? My husband is finally building the shop of his dreams lol, so he has agreed to build me a 12 x 12 'office' (LMAO) right next to it. He is calling it my office, but I was thinking of using it for a spray tan studio. Right now I do it out of my salon on the side and am doing well, but have noticed that many clients are requesting that I do larger parties and have asked that I come to them. Due to the limited space at the salon, larger parties are out of the question. I am not sure I want to travel, or have the liabilities associated with spraying them in their place nor do I want to clean up their place (not cleaning behind their toilet due to any overspray) Ewe, but I am not opposed to a good cleaning. If I set it up with a dressing & spray area, stereo system, couches and goodies would that work? Would I have to have a bathroom attatched because it is a business? Anything else I am missing? Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks. |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Spray tan "Studio", will it work? I think it would work. Location is a big a key if your interested in really growing. Insurance is cheap, so don't worry about that. You will need a bathroom. I don't think there is a state or county that would allow you to have a business with no bathroom. Since your in the business already you know what you need as far as the other stuff goes. Good luck, hope it all works out for you. |

Rep Power: 35 | Re: Spray tan "Studio", will it work? what is the size of the shop? in our state if you are over 2000 sq ft (aprox) you need to have two bathrooms that are huge to have full handicap access. also once you make it a public business and not an office all the state licenses are different. :) |
