Moisture Lock-in Treatment

Hey airbrush techs...do any of you use after-tan lock in moisture treatment? And if you do, do you recommend it? Sunless Expression sells this for: 125.00/gallon, 75.00/.5gallon, and 25.00/16oz..kind of pricey IMO...just want to know if it's worth the investment...thanks.

Re: Moisture Lock-in Treatment

Wow that is pricey. We don't use it and if we did that would seem to almost double your cost of applying the tan unless you charged extra for it.

Re: Moisture Lock-in Treatment

I have used it for about 1 year. I believe that is around the time they introduced it. I charge $7.00 for the moisture seal treatment and it costs about $1.95 per application. It seems to bring my sales up and customers do come back and ask for it on their next session quite often. Yhey have it on sale sometimes in their monthly specials. Their exfoliant is the best I have ever used. I have tried many. I charge $10 for that service. Why not just ask for a sample and see if you think it is worth it for yourself. That's what I did.

Re: Moisture Lock-in Treatment

I think I'll try it. I spoke to a rep at sunless expressions and they are having a promotion of $35.00 for the 32oz.

In repsonse to top250tansyou, it's a moisturizer that you spray after the tan. You can learn more about on www.sunlessexpressions.com

Re: Moisture Lock-in Treatment

Hi!

I am new here and just read Shoshannah's recommendation of the Sunless Expressions exfoliant and moisture-lock products. Since it's old I wanted to know - Has anyone else used them since this thread started, and did you like them? Also, did you prefer the S.E. exfoliator to the one offered by Ocean?

Thanks for any comments you can provide.

Thanks for your help!
