HPLV vs LPLV

Hello my name is Ana and this is my first time posting on this forum. I have been a lurker for a few months. I am thinking about becoming a part time airbrush technician. Does anyone know the difference between HPLV vs LPLV. I know that the HPLV sprays at 4 psi and LPLV sprays at 1 psi. How does this difference affect the tan results? Thank you for your input.

Results will be the same. Just a tad less overspray with LPLV (I doubt you'd even notice the difference).

Tan results have much more to do with the technician, solution, and proper skin prep. before the spray tan.

Re: HPLV vs LPLV

Thank you nmarcks and alohatanca...the reason I wanted know to is because Sprays of Rays makes a unit that sprays at 1 psi that cost more than the Accu Spray that sprays at 4 psi.

Re: HPLV vs LPLV

Do not confuss this with HPV. That is very important. And if someone has HPV, I wouldn't tan them nude.

Re: HPLV vs LPLV

Hi SDAIRBRUSHTANN,

I am think about getting the mini mist by Apollo. Is this a good commerical unit? My first choice is Whisper MistT700 also by Apollo, however it cost a lot more than the mini mist.
