I have been in the tanning bussiness for quite some time.I used to have my own salon and now I run a mobile service.Started out with a small machine but bussiness became busy so I had to up-grade my machine.All I offer is spray tanning ,if you need any info let me know

What can I put on the walls when someone is spray tanning so that comes off easily? What are the best solutions and what is the best machine? It is not as easy as it looks from the video I have seen.

I went HVLP system w/ a Turbine motor.....made by Apollo ( I have the TurboBronzer by CalTan) www.hvlp.com

I did my spray room mysefl with those self stick tiles used for flooring,. also the stuff that comes in sheets for bath walls would be great too. Then I got a sheet of plywood 4ft x 4ft & covered it so they could stand on. Used Breeze 2 plus years now.

while your talking spraying ;

is there any standard release forms . or do any of you ust make your own

for instance ;
we just had a person call back who was sprayed last night .she says she has spots . also says she is now orange .
we use norvell , and we never have problems with either of this
i don`t see that we can be responsible for this once they leave the shop , since we don`t know if they showered too early , or put anything on it
how do any of you handle this ? should we have a release form , for the spray , and the bed tanning ?
please don`t give me a hard time for the caps , or mis-spelled words . i`ve asked questions before , and some folks just zone into that , and never answer the question

Air Brush Tanning Waiver

I give my son/daughter permission to be Spray Tanned at OASIS TANNING SPA. You have agreed to participate in one or more airbrush tanning sessions to achieve a sunless tan on your skin. For best results, please read and indicate that you understand and agree with the following information.

1. An airbrush tan, like any self tanning product will not protect your skin from burning in the natural sun or in a UV tanning bed.

2. For best results, we recommend two sessions within seven days to develop your desired color. Maintaining your color is possible with subsequent visits every five to ten days. Healthy, hydrated skin will hold results longer and achieve results faster.

3. For best results wait eight hours after airbrushing before showering.

4. The initial bronzers in the airbrush tanning solution may transfer to clothing or fabric. The bronzers are water-soluable and will wash out of most fabrics.

5. All the components of the airbrush tanning solution have been safely used in cosmetics and nutritional products for decades and have been proven safe for the skin. If you have had adverse effects utilizing self tanning products or moisturizers in the past, you may experience similar effects with the airbrush system. Please discuss this with the technician before proceeding.

6. We recommend that you hold your breath during facial spraying. We make this recommendation because most individuals would prefer not to breath the mist. The solutions is not considered harmful in the minimal amounts that may be inhaled in a normal spray tanning session.

7. If you have a history of asthma or other respiratory or medical conditional that could be aggravated by the use of the airbrush systems, please consult a physician before proceeding. Please apprise your tanning technician of any past allergic reactions to DHA products or other medical concerns.
I, the undersigned understand and agree to comply with all instructions. I have been properly instructed prior to my airbrush session. I am using these services at my own risk. I hereby authorize and direct employees or agents of the salon to perform such tanning procedures as may be deemed necessary or advisable, and have provided them with the above information required. I acknowledge that the results of airbrush tanning do vary and that no guarantees of specific results are offered or implied. The salon and their agents or employees are not liable for any injury to persons or property or the loss or theft of any personal property and hold them harlmess from any liability involved in the use of the tanning process.

Antimicrobial Agent: Tetracyclines, Espec, Demeolocycline, Demeolocycline, Sulfonamides, Espec Sulfanilamide, Griseofulvin, Halogenated Salicylanilides. Other drugs: Penothiazines, Chlorpromazine, Thiazides, psoralens, Sulfonylures OTHER: Oral contraceptives, Sunscreens, Tar, Costeics (due to presence of eosin, psoralens or antimicrobobial agents). Precautions are necessary for safe tanning, I agree that I will comply with all the instructions on the use of the system and that I am using these services at my own risk and protecting my vision by using goggles provided. Although we promote the safest measures, we and our Employees of OASIS TANNING SPA are not liable for any injury to peron or property caused in any way by the use of its services or its premises. Also, they are not liable for the loss or theft of any personal property. Each person is responsible for safeguarding his or her own property. In consideration of the acceptance of the Application of Waiver, I herby waive and release for myself and by heirs, executors and administrators any claims of any nature whatsoever which I might at any time have against the Company or Employess and acknowledge that I will use the services provided at my own risk. Other things you should know: We promote responsible tanning and do not allow double sessions or tanning more than once a day within a 24 hour span. Mineral oil, baby oil, outdoor oils and lotions are harmful to bed acrylics and FORBIDDEN in this facility. Only Salon grade lotions approved by employee are permitted.
