Re: spray tanning services
Get a good filter system and you won't need to do anything special to your walls. Mine are white matt on one wall!

Re: spray tanning services
Sure Eilleen, I'd definately like to see where it says nose plugs are mandatory. Your the only one I've ever heard state this so it is news to me. LOL
I totally trust the people that got me into this and I asked them on the phone and they are telling me nose plugs are not mandatory and in fact there are no guidlines by which this would be stated .... by any means.... but should/could be offered and available to customers (which I do) and they are the creators of spray tan so I take their word highly. BUT your in a different State Eileen so maybe you have some sort of rules that we dont know about here in Michigan. I know for a fact this is not a Federal rule or anything silly like that or it would have been in the certification manuals. Michigan is unregulated in it's UV tanning so we dont have much for guidelines anyways. LOL |

Re: spray tanning services
I'll post some of the facts here, most of them are in articles that's I've printed and put into a binder.
Here is one none of uf probably do! Dihydroxyacetone or Erythrulose may cause contact dermatitis. First time users of sunless tanning products should apply them to a small patch of skin and wait 24 hours before a full body application.

Re: spray tanning services
I go by FDA regulations... you are told to cover your mucas membranes. I'll get you the text directly from the FDA site.

Re: spray tanning services
What does this mean for DHA spray "tanning" booths?
As noted above, the use of DHA in "tanning" booths as an all-over spray has not been approved by the FDA,, since safety data to support this use has not been submitted to the Agency for review and evaluation, When using DHA-containing products as an all-over spray or mist in a commercial spray "tanning" booth, it may be difficult to avoid exposure in a manner for which DHA is not approved, including the area of the eyes, lips, or mucous membrane, or even internally. Consequently, FDA advises asking the following questions when considering commercial facilities where DHA is applied by spraying or misting:
