Cool I just received my Norvell Airbrush System

For weeks now I've been pondering on what airbrush system to get and I decided on Norvell. I just picked it up on Friday from my local disty and I sprayed my fiance with it this afternoon. As of right now he looks good but only time will tell...hehehehehe. Is it really that easy to airbrush someone or am I missing something? It just seemed so easy and after listening to people and reading the articles about airbrushing I had this idea of it being difficult and that it could take 10 or 15 people for practicing. Anyone have a response to this matter? I just thought it was strange that it was so easy.

Re: I just received my Norvell Airbrush System

Yep........its pretty much is that easy. Most of the problems you read on here are with people having problems with certain skin types, improper pre prep, certain skin issues, using higher DHA % then what should be used on there skin type. Also the solution you are using may work great for your fiance but you may find out the next person you use it on it may only look ok on.

The actual spray process is pretty straight forward. After a few more times you'll really beable to spray fast.

Re: I just received my Norvell Airbrush System

Hi I've been using mine for about 3 months now and all told its been good on all skin types with no real problems except for a bit of streaking on 1 client (but then he was sweating profusley, due to the scorching summer we've had in the UK).All the clients seem to love scent of the ambersun lotion, so we'll keep using it 'til summit better comes along!Any one know anything about DHA Rapid?

Re: I just received my Norvell Airbrush System

international...........I don't have anything setup yet at the salon. I did it at home and will practice on a couple of my future inlaws until I feel comfortable to start charging but like I said with my beginning post I couldn't believe how easy it is. I will be spraying a couple of people that have no tan at all...they are white as a ghost and we will see how that turns out. As for the setup for the salon, look at the norvell website...they have a whole section and a picture on a simple and cheap setup.

nmarcks and barginbabe...............thanks for the responses. I feel better now.

Re: I just received my Norvell Airbrush System

Norvell often do a training course (really short) but useful all the same so its worth doing 'cos sometimes it just brings up stuff you hadn't thought of . We've got a booth in the corner of our room, a screen to change behind and a product display shelving unit so very simple layout you dont need much space , just enough to be able to do your tanning dance 180 degrees around your client. After the training we started charging!!!!
