Well better to assume that you just misunderstood me then to assume I am an *** right off the bat. I was not stating he should completely stay out of the sun, nor did I make the claim that I completely stay out of the sun, *sheesh*. Thanks for the attempt at educating me on the sun, but I already have that information. Judging your picture, looks like you'd be better off researching hair removal. Do you treat all newbies in your salon as bad as you treat people on here? I hope not!

With that out of the way, I am attacking what you said. You are in a public forum and you were giving information that, in my opinion, was wrong. Sorry if you were offended.

This is a forum that people come to for information about tanning. I would hate to have someone come here and not get both sides of the story so they can make an informed decision about their tanning and their health. I am not advocating anything. I am simply pointing out the other side to an argument that I did not start. Very few people need an education about the sun's harmful effects. The American Academy of Dermatology and the pharmaceutical companies have been doing an excellent job of that for many years. What is needed is an understanding of the positive effects of the sun. Uncontrolled exposure is never good. But, in my personal opinion that is based on studying the information above and much more like it, moderation is much better than avoidance.

Yeah, I did see it as an attack, but no worries here. I'm sure Eddie understood the post and am pretty certain others did to. Just wanted to clarify myself to be sure that people who do have difficulty reading can understand that I was not advocating to stay out of the sun completely.
