Re: Fantasy tan anyone?

I use an Iwata compressor I purchased on ebay. It cost $149. I've been using it for 8 years with no problem. I stick it in a cabinet from Home depot with a hole drilled in the back for the hose to stick out. I built my room and use inexpensive bathroom panels that wipe off with water from Home Depot. Air compressors have been around for years. I use my own spray but I've heard the California Tan spray works well. Good Luck!

Re: Fantasy tan anyone?

When I strated researching airbrush Tanning for my salon 5 years ago, Fantasy Tan seemed like the way to go. They have a great marketing program which has made them popular. I admit I bought into their sales pitch and bought the whole system, solution and training package. I must say their customer service and training is AWESOME- they flew a rep out to california to educate and train. However, I was deeply disspointed when I started to research and found I was totally ripped off - they triple the prices for their systems. I used the solution for a while but had lots of unhappy customers fading poorly- so I no longer use them. If your just starting out and need some hand holding customer service and hands on training- Fantasy tan is great. They train and educate and will get any salon owner up to speed but .....get ready to pay the price. They are expensive!

Re: Fantasy tan anyone?

I am selling my Fantasy machine with product. My Esthetician is leaving and I just can't deal with doing the spray tan.
The machine is going for $900, complete with the air brush and air gun. I do have pictures.
Bought it in 2009 paid about $3900.00. We live in a a small town, so we don't do that many tans, only people going on vacation, prom, weddings.
Also I just invested in a new air gun that cost me $450.
The company is supportive, they sell all the products. There is a hitch. If you want to buy product from them, they want you to take their course and be certified.
This is portable and you can travel with it. Any interest let me know
Thanks Maria
