I did end up buying the Fantasy Tan system in September. I love it! Worth every penny, and they flew all the way to Idaho from Chicago to train us:) I am very pleased with the results it gives and my customers are too.

What is involved with the training? Is it that difficult to learn that they have to send someone?

They show you how to apply the solution, how to layer for muscle, shadowing ect. They also teach you about the history of the product and about each product. It was very helpful....alot better that learning how to apply from a cd!

GlamaTan....i know that there were problems with someone in Australia claiming to be Fantasy Tan and they actually weren't. Maybe you were dealing with the psuedo Fantasy Tan, i know that everyone i talk to thinks that the Fantasy Tan solution is the most realistic you can buy. Believe me...i've tried them all!

AngieCharm, how did it make you feel when you found out that the unit you bought was actually $400 cheaper somewhere else? this is the problem, the accuspray turbine system costs $150 to manufacture, and yet you have caltan, australian gold, norvell, all selling it for huge mark ups! $2000 for a turbine? what a joke. i'd much rather have something that was of the highest quality and came with a unbeatable guarantee. overpriced? you can't put a pricetag on quality. good things aren't cheap and cheap things aren't good! IMO....

Goldengirl69,

I mean the real Fantasy Tan. I know there was a big court case over it and everything.

Australia is very advanced and Fantasy Tan is old news over here.

The solution is one of the worst for chemicals and the alcohol is very overwhelming when it is being sprayed, i actually know of girls that have fainted in salons while having Fantasy Tan done. It smells horrible. It also contains known skin irritants when i did a search on its ingredients. Also found the colour quite light so had to spray numerous times and use more solution to get a decent colour, which IMO is still quite average. Its fading qualities are poor as its very drying on the skin.

Because of its ingredients the overspray is much worse than the solution i now use.

Until i had tried better i didnt relise how bad it was. Its deffinately lost its popularity here in Australia. There are far superior products coming out of Australia. :)
