CalTan Autobronzer??

Are there any CalTan Autobronzer owners out there who wouldn't mind sharing their opinion about the unit? I currently own three Mystic units that I run with Cal Tan solution, and I am getting ready to open my fourth location and I am wondering if a Mystic is the way to go, or if I should try the Autobronzer? Does the solution get all over the room? Do you offer your clients towels? (I heard you don't have to) HELP! Thanks a million!!

Re: CalTan Autobronzer??

I have one and love it. It gets clogged every once in a while and u do have the clean the room frequently-it doesnt get evrywhere but there is no need for a towel except for wiping off barrier cream. They dont wipe their body-I have a fan that they dry for a couple of minutes-then they are done.

Re: CalTan Autobronzer??

If you are still getting $25/spray, it may be worth it. If you are getting $10-15, definitely go with a lower priced unit.

The room is filthy -- absolutely gets everywhere without FREQUENT cleaning.

I find the results "spotty" -- have to do a "twist" and still not always great coverage inside the legs and outside the legs (e.g. the areas not facing directly at the sprayer).

Personally, I prefer Mystic, or the Cabana Mist as equal or better results for less cost.

Re: CalTan Autobronzer??

Jess-

Call Caltan and ask about the specifics and see if you can try it out anywhere. I really liked spray tanning in the Autobronzer vs. Mystic. After trying a Mystic Tan, I vowed never to do that again. I also have heard that the Autobronzer is very solution cost effective as it uses way less of it for a session.
