Re: Mobile spray tanning

I bought the Solomist system. I thought it was very affordable for starting out in the business and I got some half gallon solutions to start out with. So far I am very happy with it, it is extremely light, great for being mobile and easy to clean.

Re: Mobile spray tanning

I have a question... I am new to the business and especially to spray tanning... I bought the hand held Norvell Spray Tan... I was wondering if someone had any info on how to mix the solutions together... I have the aruba sunless products... I just don't know what I need to do to mix the solutions... Thanks in advance...

I don't think you should have to mix solutions, they usually come pre-mixed. My solutions come in levels, light to dark. No mixing required.

Re: Mobile spray tanning

Has anyone had problems with clients starting to sweat mid-application? I had a lady that started sweating (in a cool room) during one of my mobile sessions and it made the solution run under her arms. I think that she was nervous (becuase she was topless) but of course the airbrush looks streaky if they start to sweat. Just wondering...

Re: Mobile spray tanning

Clients sweat b/c they get nervous, or b/c of lack of antiperspirant for the session. Just blow it dry with the gun. If you need, you blot it dry with a dry cloth or sponge and lightly re-spray any areas that look streaky. Some people are big sweaters, seems funny to be cold and sweating but a lot of people have a big issue with it. It is embarrassing for them usually, so I let them know it is common and take care of the problem and tell them not to worry.

Re: Mobile spray tanning< Payments

For you mobile spray tanners out there..... How do you usually take payments? I am looking into the credit card machine that syncs with your phone/internet service. Have any of you used this method... like/dislike or any other suggestions?
Thanks!
