Re: Vani-T Cyclone
Hi there CCPRULL,
This is my first post as I stumbled across this site today :) I operate a Mobile Spray Tanning business in the Fiji Islands (catering to the tourist and wedding markets of course). I am currently using the Vani-T System and spray tan solution they manufacture, Liquid Sun. Having personally tried many solutions with various results, I have found Liquid Sun to be the best on the market today. It is also 99%natural based and results in a very natural looking and even colour on clients. The Vani-T cyclone is easy to use, has 3 different power settings, a fan and a heat component if required, while spraying the client. The spray gun is easy to clean and extra spray pots can also be obtained if need be. I find their business support either via phone or email to be exemplary to say the least. Let me know if you need any more info. :) |

Re: Vani-T Cyclone
thank u for takin the time to tell me, actually i just got mine yesterday sprayed two people with a very light solution( 8% diluted wth water)
I was suprised at how fine the mist really is. I really had a hard time seeing were i had sprayed but i think thats becuase i dilituded the solution. my daughter does look really nice though she is the palest of pale with red hair and she has a really soft color, i took her with me to the salon that i may be contracting with and they were so impressed. the machine was pretty much exactly what i thought it would be except i thought my gun was going to be all plastic but it does have metal and to me is heavy. Is the heat button supposed to make the solution warm when u spray? |

Re: Vani-T Cyclone
Hi Ccprull...Bula from Fiji!
Great to hear you have started. Personally, I never dilute the solution. My only suggestion would be to use the Liquid Sun "light" solution for very fair skin. Another reason would be to save on any wastage left over from the spray session if it were not to be used for a period of time. Because my business is in Fiji, I never need to use the "heat" button on the unit...it's hot enough here as it it! However, having said that, the "heat" button is to only warm up the air as it travels through the gun when the solution is applied....not to heat the actual solution itself. I am not a chemist, however, I beleive if you were to heat the solution itself, you would affect it's stability and shelf life. My gun has a few metal components also, however, I have found that if you are spray tanning using your wrist a lot, it does seem to get a bit tired over several consistent sprays. I try and spray using a shoulder movement, which also keeps the solution pot attached to the gun, a lot more upright, resulting in a lovely even spray. Sincerely hope this information works for you :) Moce (bye for now in Fijian) Fiji Baby :)

Re: Vani-T Cyclone
Hi CCPRULL
I have only been spraying somce July 2006 using the vani-t system and I love it, everybody has said how natural the colour looks, no orange at all. I am mostly using the medium colour at the moment (until the summer hits and people want to be really dark then I will probably use more of the dark solution) I was under the impession the heat button was just used when the customer is drying themself. I didn't know that I can use it to heat the air when spraying. regards helen |
