Re: Sunless Airbrush Systems

Spray tanning with an HVLP system is where it is at , airbrush takes way too long...I have tried alot os solutions & I like Breeze which is mostly all I use, Cal Tan premium & Fantasy Tans.

do a search from the home page & scan down this forum for more info.

Re: Sunless Airbrush Systems

John Abate' HVLP and their solution is awesome. We get clients from other places that are not happy with the color they get. They are very satisfied with the color we provide them.

btw, we have been doing this for 4+ years and so far haven't found any solution to beat it.

Re: Sunless Airbrush Systems

I had an old school airgun and I got a system by John Abate. The solution is great and it only takes me 15 minutes to do a spray. I prefer it over a booth, so do my clients! JA also had a rep come and show my employees how to spray and a training class.

Re: Sunless Airbrush Systems

I really like Breeze products as well. About 3 years ago I started out using a small Airbrush and then switched to using two different types, The HVLP Turbine(Apollo) and the Spray Gun 200T from Paasche.

I prefer the HVLP. There is nothing wrong with the 200T application. It just has a little more over spray (cloudy) and you use a different technique than with the HVLP. With the 200T spray gun you spray in short brusts. With the HVLP unit you can have more of a continuous flow.

Some companies carry a smaller, portable HVLP system. Check out Tampa Bay Tan or California Tans units. Whatever company you go with just make sure to ask about their warranty.

I wish I had airbrush. I wouldn't need that MySpace account any more. ~shrug, nervous tick~

Re: Sunless Airbrush Systems

Mr B, you never cease to amaze me. My boys say I have the best job in the house cuz I do all the spray tans. They just don't seem to get the basic principle.... it's all about the customer!
