The training really necessary, heck for $1000.00 more I'd come and train you myself. Once you get it in your hand you will see it is really quite easy to do.

Re: Sunless Airbrush Systems

No, but pretty easy to imagine. White fiberglass panels on walls so that it is easy to wash. (Restaurant grade FRP panels) Lights around top of the walls so there are no shadows, 8" platform on the floor to raise client up for better access to legs. And an exhaust fan over the platform with a filter over it to catch overspray.
I also put a drain in the platform and a pump under it to pump excess water to the drain in the back, but this isn't really necessary. I don't think I would worry with the pump if I were doing it again.

Re: Sunless Airbrush Systems

Keep in mind that your main concern will be keeping everything clean. I have a cabinet for supplies and has a section for clients to hang their clothes. I have a rolling stool for me when I am spraying from the waist down.

thank you,

how big is the room your working in? i am looking into doing this.

as youmentioned before you use a standard system from lowes with much success....i am thinking of doing this i am just concerened with the noise because i do not have another room to keep the unit in to muffle the noise.

Most units are going to be loud. An HVLP unit will sound like a vacum running. Now if you have a HVLP unit inside a noise dampening box it will sound like a vacum inside of a closet with the door shut. Much quiter, I would almost say a must if your worried about noise. Also keep in mind you'll have exhaust fans running to which creates noise.

Re: Sunless Airbrush Systems

the only thing i am concerned about it the size of the room i have. Its long but very narrow. Do most of you offer a changing area or do your clients use the bathroom? If i do the sunless spray i will not have room for a changing area i will have to allow them to use the bathroom.

The model I am considering is http://www.whisper-mist.com/t100minimist.htm

has anyone ever used it. its supposed to be quieter than most...
