I'm using the custom bronzer 4000 from caltan. Not too sure how much I like it, as I just got it & have sprayed only 3 people so far. Does anyone know how far you should turn the nozzle? I don't know how "wet" they are supposed to get. The instructions only tell you to turn it from 12:00 to 6:00. 1) How far do you guys usually turn it. It is noisier than I expected, so I hope I get used to it. 2) can you use any solution in it, or just caltan? Thanks guys, for having a sight we can ask questions on.

Wagner fine spray HVLP system. A little over $100 at Lowe's.

You can use any solution with the cal tan as well as almost all systems. If you call suppliers they should send you samples for free. Every area is different with what they like. That is why there is so many solutions out there. I will be happy to send you some of our if you would like just pm me. As for how far to turn it, They should have an even color without having any drips. We suggest you start out low and work your way up 1/4 turn at a time

I sure wish to god that I had seen the sprayer at lowes before I spent 2200. at Caltan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok What kind of results do you get with that machine?
I am a little weary.
I am trying to figure out if I should go with and HVLP system or a booth and am having a hard time making a decision.
We have been asking my clients what the would prefer and the overwhelming choice is the booth, but that is a major investment to try and recoup.

HELP!!!!! I am so confused!
