You really need to try the ALL ABOUT ME solution. Comes in different shades.

I use the california tan premium dark on everybody. If they are fair skinned, spray less solution. CT doesn't use food coloring in its formula like Norvell and some of the others. It doesn't turn green. Also, with Norvell the solution is hard to clean off of some surfaces. you wash it off and have a pink residue that takes a little more scrubbing. All solutions that contain DHA will last longer refrigerated. Shelf life is about the same. Since DHA is a sugar cane derivative, it makes great food for bacteria. It should be good for up to 6 months from when it was manufactured (not when you bought it). Use a dist. that doesn't keep the stuff sitting around very long before you buy it. After it gets bacteria growing in it, it develops a really nasty smell. some products frangrances do a better job of covering up that nasty smell than others, but your DHA % is starting to decrease. Your customers are not getting the same results as with fresh solution. After a couple of months of stinking, it just stops giving any results from DHA. Any color that stays after they first shower is probably a stain from walnut extract that is in some of the solutions.

I like norvells color and scent..........only prob it is ...my clients that i tested it on only got 3 - 5 days of color....myself included. It started to fade by the 3rd day completely gone in 5 days. If it lasted a little longer, it would be perfect......fades too fast.

The sunless color fading could be from some other factors...

Do not moisturize 8 hours before using sunless...this can cause streaking, orangey colors, and fast fading\

Exfoliate, exfoliate, exfoliate! If all the dry skin is exfoliated before sunless application, the color will penetrate deeper, therefore lasting longer

A PH balancing spray can help with color and the duration that it lasts

For best results after sunless, wait 8-12 hours before showering for the DHA to fully develop!

DO NOT USE SOAP!! Regular soaps and body washes (i.e. Bath & Body Works, Victoria's Secret) will strip the color of your sunless tan right off! Use a sunless-friendly body wash every time you shower and don't scrub! Try Cal Tan's Moisture Wash, Hempz Body Wash, or Body Invest

Don't use store bought lotions! The alcohol and oils in these do not work well with sunless color and can fade it quickly, or cause it to turn a funny color

Make sure the person spraying is using enough solution -- 2 oz per person is the average!

The day after the sunless application, start using a moisturizer with slight DHA percentage in it to maintain your color. Hempz Shimmer Bronze, or Pro-Long or Celebrity are good choices.
