Rep Power: 0 | I Need Your Input Hello everyone. I'm new to this site and this business (UV-Free spray booth). I've already gotten a lot of info from just reading through the various "areas ?" but I need more, lots more. I'm hoping to open a UV-free spray salon soon and I've narrowed down my choice of booth the following: Solitaire Spray Booth Cabana Mist Sunless Experience The Spray Hex Instant Tan IT9 and IT10 Acapulco Mist KMT 1000 BronzMist Do you have anything good or bad to say about any of these booths? I realize the tan depends a lot on the solution but some booth mfgs insist you use their solution - so it's a package deal. Please help! |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: I Need Your Input Syndey: It's a package deal for one very good reason. Most spray booths are set to achieve optimal results for a certain viscosity of solution , when salons change and spray quality goes south, and owners dosen't understand the need to reset pressures etc... they can and state they have a problem. It is easier for mfg to keep this variable out of the equation if a problem arises. It used to be that mfg/distributors could make a lot of money on spray, whcih actally drove salon owners away from the system. ps I am glad to see your considering our booth. Thanks |

Rep Power: 22 | Re: I Need Your Input We have the cabanamist and do very well with it. We are on our 3rd type of solution but i have always gotten it from them. I dont think you have to go with their solution but im not sure - you would have to ask. As dsl said i assume when you switch you may need to change the pressure that makes since and i have learned something new. Also with these companies and companies outside our industry yes they want you to buy the after product from them. They also probably believe they are using the best product for their machine. These companies dont just try 1 or 2 soultions. They try as many as they can get there hands on. Dsl will probably know but i think there are more then 30 different brands and or products to try. These are just what i know about im sure the numbers higher. |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: I Need Your Input Thanks all of you for your replies. I'm still looking for anyone who has used or has a Sunless Experience, Spray Hex, and IT9 & IT10. I've searched every web and collected their data and sent out emails asking more questions. Not all of them have been very good at replying. What gives. |
