AND LOOKS KINDA CRAPPY IS THIS NORMAL . WHAT DO WE ADVISE THEM ? IS THAT JUST THE WAY IT FADES , SHOULD THEY AT THAT TIME RE-SPRAY , OR JUST TAN IN A BED ? ARE THEY NOT DOING SOMETHING RIGHT , LIKE MOISTURIZING , OR IS THERE CERTAIN WAYS THEY SHOULD BE TOLD NOT TO CLEAN OR WASH ? CERTAIN THINGS THEY SHOULDN`T USE ( LOUFA SPONGE, WASH RAGS...ETC?) ALSO , I READ ONE OF THE OWNERS WROTE THAT THEY " PRIME" FIRST DON`T KNOW MUCH ABOUT THAT , SHOULD WE ? WHATS THE BENEFIT WE JUST DON`T WANT TO START UNTIL WE KNOW ALL THE ANSWERS. Rep Power: 57 | Re: WEARING OFF OF SPRAY TANNING homebeach - great questions but first, turn off your cap locks. As with u.v. tanning results, everyones skin is different. We tell our customers to be clean, ex-foliated, no lotions, creams or oil should be on their skin. Not even deodorant or make up. Next thing to consider is how they bathe as in how aggressive do they scrub and the kind of soap the use. Chlorinated water will make it wear off faster. Places where the sweat more during the day will come off faster. The thing that I seem to notice is that people assume their spray tan will wear off just like a regular tan and I don't see that. Also, some spray tanners feel like it should look great for more than a week and just turn off one morning. It's hard sometimes to convince them they need to spray again before it starts to wear off. |

Rep Power: 27 | Re: WEARING OFF OF SPRAY TANNING homebeach....always tell them to exfoliate for a few days before, that way their skin is better prepared, and the tan "fades" a little more even. I have a girl that has her face done every 6 days, and it keeps wonderful, she also exfoliates every day and uses a good moisturizer everyday, but the key is to come back in regularily. This is also a good time to talk them into a self tanner that they can touch up spots in between at home. |

Rep Power: 22 | Re: WEARING OFF OF SPRAY TANNING I also find the more active you are the quicker and more uneven it fades. If you work out everyday it will fade faster and more uneven than mine. I sit around alot when not at work. Prediction - mystic has PR nightmare. There some kind miss USA pagent coming up soon - not the real one but one for older people like 25 - 30 or something. We have a girl that tans with us that is going. THis thing is like 10 days long and with the exception of one night these girls will be kept under lock and key - no free time - which means no time to work out or to tan. Mystic as takin care of the tanning problem. THey will be onsite the whole time to tan the girls. I really dont believe with how active these girls are and how many of them there will be - well they cant expect them all to go well. Best of luck to them. |

Rep Power: 22 | Re: WEARING OFF OF SPRAY TANNING No i dont but i will find out. The girl tried the spray today after doing our HP stand up. I will see how she liked it. I am still asking for negative points - thank you though. I want to set the first negative number record. I am sure the girls will not only be doing the mistic. I would assume they will use air brush and touch up makeup also. I dont think they could take the chance of coming off looking bad. If it does not go well it will hurt us all. Im also sure they wont alude to the other products in use. I cant wait for the girl to back back afterward to see what all they used. Ill keep you posted. |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: WEARING OFF OF SPRAY TANNING My mystic on me never seems to go patchy, except for my feet where my trainers rub when I work out. When this happens I scrub hard to get rid of all of it and it looks ok ( I don't look like I have tanned with my socks on!) The only thing I can think of is that I UV tan too, so my skin isn't pale underneath it, and that I only use a moisturising shower wash, always have done, never any soap ?? |
