So I had this lady come in right now to do the mystic. When she payed for her session she set double sided tape on my counter. Really not thinking much I set her no joke at 9:45 and it is now 10:03 she still has not gone in. I hear her putting the tape on. The tape has not stopped, I think she is putting it on her toes and fingers, the funny thing as she moves in the room I hear the tape sticking to the floor! WTF do people think?

Are you going to ask her what's up when she comes out. I would like to know what her explaination will be. How funny. I remember when I first started spraying I would use bumper stickers on the bottom of peoples feet to stop the feet from processing too much maybe that is what she is doing.

Ok she just left at 10:25 over a half hour to do a 60 second process? I had to ask her to please get in the booth because I have a client waiting she waited for about 15 minutes and the 2 of us had all we could do to not laugh out loud. So she leaves and I ask her, what she used the tape for, she taped her fingers, toes, and heals. I explained that we have booties for her to use on her feet and that latex gloves will do the same thing if she folds the glove down to her knuckles. I kindly explained (without trying to laugh) that we ask she does not use the tape again, (IT WAS EVERYWHERE STUCK TO THE FLOOR) due to the fact that the lengthy time it took for her to prepare for it. She said ok. You know I may be really smart or just really dumb but why not if your going to use tape try masking tape that is wider rather than double sided tape that you use to wrap presents with.

Do you charge for the booties or latex gloves? This lady sounds like a coo coo to me!

no the booties we actually use the shower cap. They put it on just like the booties but because the shower caps are circular you can adjust it just to cover the bottoms, heels and toes. Latex gloves no, I have so many boxes, I get em for free, I keep em here so if the girls need to use gloves to clean up a mess, a bed, etc, they have them at their dissposable.

RIVER BRAT dont you blame yourself for alowing her to do this you shuld be taking the client back to do your sunless and showing her how to use it

I do not blame myself at all or my employees, everyone that comes through here has a complete tour of the Mystic, how it works, watches the video, and is given additional information on top of the video. We spend quite a bit of time with each and every client that comes through here, however there is always a nut case that comes up with a bright idea, we cannot control their bright ideas until they attempt them. When they attempt we can correct and reinterate what was shown in their first visit, so thank you for you astute assumption of how our salon is ran.

Ask her politely to prep her cuticles prior to coming in for her fantastic, unbelievable instant tan from Mystic Tan! Or maybe just tell to hurry the **** up already and get her spray on! Good luck.
