I like that - i have not though of that - i must try it - spray deodorant works well also. When you exit our unit though the mist is already dry - i dont know if this would work well in a mystic or one where you are dripping after the spray.

yeah, this makes sense. Educate the customer on how bad mineral oil is and then offer it as barrier cream.

wonder why spray tan customers are usually out of their minds?

they actually tell you NOT to use antiperspirant pre-Mystic . . i have done it a few times and it actually makes the area DARKER . . .

^^ i gotta agree with Mr Jones - baby oil is a bad scene & you cant control it easily, esecially if you are a naked newbie spray tanner . . . there are options to the Mystic brand that will work if you don't want to use THEIRS

I read how you wrote that coal tar is so effective for a treatment isn't that a petrolum by product? Why would you recommend this if it was so bad? Huh? Here is your quote:

Coal tar is the liquid by-product of the distillation of coal to make coke. The gaseous by-product produced by this process is commonly known as town gas.

Coal tar is very viscous brown or black liquid, with smell of naphthalene and aromatic hydrocarbons. Being inflammable, it is sometimes used for heating or to fire boilers. Like most oils, it must be heated before it will flow easily.

It can be made into coal tar soap, and is used in medicated shampoo to kill and repel head lice and as a treatment for dandruff and psoriasis.

According to the International Agency for Research on Cancer, coal tar is a Group 1 carcinogen

Mike you picked the wrong person to tell they are wrong about something. I was letting it go - there is a difference between the gel and the oil although i would have nither in the salon.

After she checks her four beds to make sure the lamps are working she has all day to debate the finer points of tanning.

Any how are you going to try it if you won't have it in your salon. Make up your mind.

wouldn't you like to know so you can "mock" me. I also have two degrees in legal and medical Whohoo big deal. I am a spa not just a tanning salon. I offer permenant make up, facial, hair removal, manicures and pedicures, chemical peels, assist in botox, make up and hair. Oh and yes I have 4 tanning beds a spray tan booth and do custom airbrush tans.

What are you, IGNORANT???? MUST be a republican the way you cut and paste totally unrelated material together.

Coal Tar is used for treatment of a BODY FUNGI. There really is no other way to treat it (without prescription). Also it's in a very small concentration. At most, 5%. It's a topical medication.

NOW, Vaseline, baby oil, petro are NOT the same as COAL TAR. Go ahead, rub some baby oil on your TV and see how fast it SPREADS.
(time for you to reopen that brain for REprogramming)

Coal Tar is not to be used every day. Only for treatment.

You on the other hand, are using this crap cause it's cheap and that's all. There are plenty of SALON QUALITY products that do not use petro in their barrier creams BUT because of your cheapness you insist on teaching these people that it's ok to use this crap on your skin even though it's a waste product that your body cannot break down naturally.
