Re: Airbrushing with Breeze?
If it were me, I think I would try and pick up a good USED mystic booth. The name recognition to me is worth it. I use Breeze juice in mine, but the booth is authentic Mystic and I think that brings people in. I hear the Versaspa is really over-rated. The gun I bought is Pasche (I think thats how you spell it). Its a turbo gun, not a true Hvlp gun, but works on the same principle and I should be able to get them sprayed quick. I got mine through Breeze. Having both sprays available, this gun is going to be fine for me. My competition here is very fierce for the UV tan, but no one really is into the spray tan which is good for me. What Im telling you is strictly my opinion. There are many, many other people here on this site that know alot more than I do. I am going into my third JASON and am still learning. At least I'm still here LOL..................

Re: Airbrushing with Breeze?
thanks for the input. makes sense. i spoke to Tom Miller at breeze today. what a great guy!
he was extremely helpful and knowledgable about so many things. i have to say tho, that i've never come across a company that is so hush hush but yet very helpful at the sametime. am i entering a cult? lol! i ordered some solutions, i cant remember right now the numbers of the ones i ordered, but i cant wait to try them out! tom said he can even help me turn my HPLV gun into a LPHV? he had more ideas for me in such a short amount of time that i couldnt keep up! how do you market your airbrush tans since they tell you not to reveal your product? |

Re: Airbrushing with Breeze?
I actually DONT use Breeze... lol. I can see that this is OBVIOUSLY a touchy subject with the ones who DO, so I was saying if anyone doesnt and wants other ideas, let me know. I do use the IWATA though.
What problems are you having? |

well i guess this question could pertain to anyone who does airbrushing. does anyone have any special spraying techniques that you could share? i was never taught professionally,i had to watch a few and pick it up on my own. people seem to love it, but i was just wondering if everyone sprays from head to toe the same way???

Re: Airbrushing with Breeze?
I start at the feet. Down one leg, turn the leg out (foot 90 degrees out) and then down the leg again. Other leg same way. Then they turn to the side, down the leg, turn to the other side, down the leg. Turn to the back, down the back of the legs. All of this includeded panty line and down. Then I stand up, spray the face, then neck, then front torso. Then each arm 3 different ways, then the back. Then I plop down on the floor and start all over. You dont have to be certified, I have trained many people and they werent by the company I was and I know alot of people train themselves. The key is to ALWAYS do it the same so you ALWAYS use the same pattern and never forget an area.

thats an interesting switch as to how i was taught. i dont know why or if it makes any difference if you start at the top or the bottom? i also was told to spray "small circles" i dont know if this is for less over spray or what? do you spray up and down? do you use barrier cream ? yea, doing the hands and feet are tricky. i dont like that part. also, we have people that want to be sprayed topless or in a thong or nothing. i dont want to do that! how about you? they usually reply that they will go find a booth instead when i tell them.
