The difference in total solution is minimal but the difference in darkness is noticable. Medium toned clients, I ask them how dark they want to be. If the say the want noticeable color but don't want to be too dark ( which is what most of them say ), I do one medium coat and one light coat. When they come back in I ask if they want to be darker than they were the first time. If they say yes, I do 2 medium coats. For medium to darker complexions that want to be dark, I have a 11.25% solution from the same manufacturer. I usually use 2 medium coats. Usually a full 2 - 3 ounces of solution.

I use a hvlp. Also, the solution is 95% natural. Before this solution, I was using a solution that contained alcohol and it was drying mine and my clients skin. My calves looked like alligator skin they were so dry. I get sprayed every 10 days or so and my skin is not dry at all. Color is a nice golden color...not orange.... even on fair skinned red heads. Love it!!
Thats another thing... if it smells like alcohol and acts like alcohol... it IS alcohol. You dont want it in WHATEVER you use. Just a tip.

Re: Airbrushing with Breeze?

That's too bad. There are many Biddiscombe formulas. This is the newest one. I'm not familiar with any of their older solutions.

Also, I'm only answering a question that someone asked. Not trying to persuade you or anybody else to use it. Since you mentioned it, I used Breeze before Legacy. I sampled Legacy on myself and liked it much better. Better color, didn't dry my skin out , no smell and last longer. Just to be sure, I tested it on 6 clients that get tanned the most. I picked people who know and appreciate a good tan. Every single one perfered Legacy ... so I switched.

Re: Airbrushing with Breeze?

I just noted you said AFTER you sprayed your guest you put them into a tanning bed? You know they cannot sweat or lay on a surface that might cause them to sweat or interrupt their service or their tan will not be good.

With Breeze they should not need to SET in their tan. It should not be sticky or even if your client is in humdid situation it should be minimal. If my client feels a little wet or sticky or what ever for service I just run my air hose over their body to make them feel dryer if you will..I usually don't have to but sometimes it is a little humid here where we live and I will do this to make the client feel more comfortable prior to dressing..but usually not necessary.

Re: Airbrushing with Breeze?

yea-i know now! at least i always knew that before too! if you get my drift..
i normally put people in the bed first-if they want-i have never done it after until i was told
it was ok. i did read on a couple of websites that some salon owners do the after tan in the stand up tho. they are making it an extra service and charging more for it.
i think it was called "twice the tan"
