Caltan & Tommel

I am upset, I love the Caltan unit and all of their Sunless products!
I have an issue with their company supporting Tommel Financial!..

Please Caltan...I just started my love for you...do not ruin it with a financial company that has hurt so many salon owners...(my opinion) this is a very , very bad move...you know what you are doing...you are not a victim....do not do this to new salon owners!

Agree..this company was the talk of forums in the early days. A class action suit was filed by several salon owners for ill-guided practices. Many salons had to close, while some found themselves owing more money at the time the lease was to end. Like a majician, Tommel has many surprises up its sleeve.

As a Cal-Tan exclusive salon, I will now seek Australian Gold as my exclusive. Shame on you CalTan!!!
I suggest salon owners consider who CalTan is now sleeping with.

I was actually giving serious consideration to the Cal Tan Bronzing booth, but in bed with Tommel! This alone says alot about the Company. I just can't believe they would affiliate with a leasing compamy that has and continues to screw-over so many salon owners. For all the newbys and people that don't have any knowledge about Tommel Leasing, just do a search and discover all the horror stories associated with this company and how they rip-off salon owners.

I have heard it all.....You are not going to purchase a product because of who the company does business with? In that case:

1) Go to your own financing company or

2) Buy a booth from me. I have a great finance company I go through.

Maybe Cal Tan's bond rating is down and the only leasing company they could deal with is Tommell. ramcat, what does your booth have that puts it above the others? Tell me a little about what you have to offer.

As I have been censored for making an observation, I'm not sure what I can say. However, as you have asked, I'll try.

Ours is 100% stainless steel and that includes the self cleaning spray heads. WE guarantee our booths for 3 years 100% and the heads are warranted for 1 million sprays (that will take you about 20 years or so to reach). The booth has an exhaust and is self cleaning/sanitizing. There is no moving parts, and there is nowhere that the solution passes through, that is made of rubber. (This guarantees that there is no clogs, leaks or other problems that others booths tend to have.

I gave my 2 cents to MaryBeth from Cal Tan on this a couple of weeks ago. I can see that it meant a lot to them. They will figure it out when they can't lease any.

I love the Unit and their lotions...when you are new you look to your vendors for advice....If this is the advice, "you might as well throw new salon owners under a bus"!

Is it possible to use a different leasing company for this unit i am really interested in getting it but will be forced to geta mystic if i have to use Tommel
